Ever the voice of reason, Natalie Cole decided to let the world know that Amy Winehouse winning at the Grammys sends out a bad message. Awwww…. Someone needed attention.

The Grammys award talent (which Amy has in spades exponentially.) Last I heard (and I will admit I got bored with it and dropped ‘Grammys 101′ during my freshman quarter, so I could* be wrong) they are not based on your personal life, a department that Natalie must be lacking in. Otherwise, why create such a WEAK platform for having your opinion heard?

Ms. Cole had her own nasty drug problem back in the 80′s. But, I digress.

So, I propose a new slang phrase to y’all:

‘The Natalie of the Week Award’ (def): Any behavior that is deemed to be socially, or even personally, unacceptable.

As in: WOW, Brittney Spears won The Natalie of the Week Award for forgetting to wear her undies again!

* That was just to be diplomatic. Of course I’m not wrong.

Aw, it is nothing that a hot Krispy Kreme (or two or three) wouldn’t fix.

Wow. It has been one rough day.

A sleepless night, followed a day of ‘blah’ that invovled being ill and working and feeling like I just could not get anything accomplished. Now, I am in super study mode gearing up for tomorrow’s lab practical desperately wanting to crawl into bed.

But, I will tough it out and study till I fall asleep on my book. I’m good like that.
